a：你还记得我们上课都学了哪些食品的英语表述吗？

b:：当然记得，我们学了．hot dog（热狗）hamburger（汉堡）chicken（鸡肉）等等

a:我来考考你。我喜欢汉堡该怎么说？

b:这太简单了。i like hamburgers.

a: great！那我喜欢汉堡、热狗、鸡肉又该怎么说呢？

b：i like hamburgers、hot dogs and chicken.

a:：super！你知道中国食品的英语表述吗？

b:不太知道。

a:：那今天我们来学一学其他的有关中国食品的英语表述吧。

b：这个笑话，你可别只顾着笑啊，要听懂还要流利正确地说出英语可不是件容易的事吧，千万不能一个单词一个单词地对照着中文意思翻译，那是会闹笑话的喔，同样的词语在不同的句子里会有不同的意思呢。不仅是语言，我们国家和西方国家在文化背景上也有着巨大的差异。

g2: hi, boys and girls! i’m liping. we hope you’ll enjoy today’s english broadcast.

g1：first we prepared two tongue twisters for you, let our mouth do some exercise.

首先，我们为大家准备了两则绕口令，那么让我们的嘴巴活动起来吧。

b:人们饮酒过多，说起话来舌头打卷。因此，英国警察曾让司机跟读下面的绕口令，以检查其是否饮酒过量。listen to me carefully. walter was wailing, worrying and watching the wet weather and the wet wind. (第一遍读慢点)

g1; 中国人的传统美德是谦虚谨慎，面对恭维和夸奖应是推辞。如：有人夸您“ your english is very good.”您的英语讲得真好。”中国人就会说“过奖，过奖，讲得不好。有人夸你“ you are a nice girl.”“你长得真漂亮！”中国人说“哪里，哪里”。

b： i have heard a joke like this. 有一则笑话说，一位外国朋友夸一位女士“ you are really beautiful.” 那位女士非常不好意思说，“哪里， 哪里！” 外国朋友一愣，忙说“ your eyes, your nose and your mouth, are all beautiful.”

g2: if you don’t the western countries’ culture, you maybe make a joke.

是啊，如果你不了解西方国家的风俗文化，说不定就会闹出笑话来呢。

b： what can westerners do? 那么西方人会怎么做呢？

g1; 西方人从来不过分谦虚，对恭维一般表示谢意，表现出一种自强自信的信念。如：“you can speak very good english.”他们会说“thank you.”“it’s a wonderful dish！” “您做的菜真好吃!”他们会说“i am glad you like it.” 很高兴您喜欢。

b：所以，当说英语的人称赞你时，千万不要回答：“no，i don’t think so.”这种回答在西方人看来是不礼貌的，甚至是虚伪的。随着社会的发展，我们已经越来越能理解中西方国家不同的文化，所以，同学们这种笑话您可别闹啊！

g1: 关于打电话，我们中国人和西方人也是不一样。 do you know how to make a telephone call to our friends？中国人打电话时的用语与平时讲话用语没有多少差异。“喂，您好。麻烦您叫一声王伟接电话。”“我是张英，请问您是谁？” 英语中打电话与平时用语差别很大。如：“hello，this is john speaking.” “may i speak to tom ,please？” “is that mary speaking？” “who’s that?”

g2: 西方人一接到电话一般都先报自己的号码或者工作单位的名称。如“hello，xxx，this is jim.” 我们学生刚开始学英语会犯这样的错误： “hello，who are you please？”

b:i know how to make a call now. boys and girls, do you understand? i think it’s good for us to learn english well. 我想多了解西方国家的文化知识对我们学好英语是有帮助。

g2：today we prepared the song , named “pretty boy”, from m2m. 今天我们为大家准备这首歌曲来自m2m，名叫“漂亮的男孩”。

b: m2m is a band of two young girls. their name are marit and marion. they are from norway. they are friends when they were five years old.

g1: m2m是一个由两个女孩组成的乐队。他们的名字分别是marit（玛莉特）, marion(玛莉安). 由于两人名字都是m开头，所以就叫m2m。 但是现在她们已经单飞，各自发展。

g2：now, let’s enjoy this song. pretty boy. (放歌曲)

乙：低碳，是一种时尚的生活新方式，更是每个公民的责任。

甲：每年的植树节，我们呼吁亲爱的同学们做到以下几点：

1、珍爱绿色，珍爱我们绿色的校园。不踩踏草坪，不攀折鲜花。

2、多一片绿色，多一片温馨。积极参加学校的植树活动。
